The peaceful riverside setting of Ewen Mill is hired a few times a year by the non-profit organisation, Ewen Mill Dialogues. EMD utilises the property's quiet environment to host private residential stays and collaborative study sessions for early- and mid-career scholars, activists, and practitioners from the Middle East and North Africa.
Participants come for a few days of shared work, walks, meals, and study in the Cotswolds countryside, finding a quiet space to step back from the pressures of their regional contexts and live with others across religious, cultural, and political lines. The private group stays draw on the region's older tradition of pluralism: a Middle East in which diverse faith communities lived, worked, and thought together.
Note: Ewen Mill Dialogues operates independently and rents the property as an exclusive-use, private residential dwelling. This page is provided for organisational context only.
